Nursing (RN)Kandee Washington wants to empower herself through education and be the best mom on earth. That’s why she’s working on an associate degree at 鶹 and plans to apply to the Nursing program to become a Registered Nurse.
The motivation toward those goals comes from her four boys, who she enjoys watching on the football field.
“I really enjoy providing snacks for the teams after a good game. I also give rides to and from games to other boys with no parental support during sports season.”
Because she values giving back to the community, Kandee volunteers for community events and regularly helps feed the homeless downtown with her boys. She is also currently is working with the Pamela Smith Foundation where she passes out clothing to women and children in need and teaches classes on self-esteem for encouragement and motivation.
“Keep goals, stay focused and use time management balance to achieve a good outcome,” she says. “Always treat others with kindness and respect.”
